According to the Chinese customs statistics, the total import and export value of silk goods from January to October 2024 was $1.446 billion, a 4.16% year-on-year decrease, accounting for 0.52% of China’s total textile and garment import and export value. Among this, exports amounted to $1.177 billion, a 4.85% decrease year-on-year, accounting for 0.45% of China’s textile and garment exports; imports were $269 million, a 1.01% decrease, accounting for 1.50% of textile and garment imports.
