According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India, from January to December 2024, India’s total foreign trade in silk goods reached USD 4.005 billion, reflecting a 12.91% year-on-year increase. Among this, exports amounted to USD 3.523 billion, growing by 15.67% year-on-year, while imports totaled USD 482 million, declining by 3.84% year-on-year. (See attached tables for details.)
