In the previous article, we explored the trade situation of Italian silk goods, providing a detailed analysis of Italy’s silk exports and imports, as well as the performance across different markets and product categories. Interested readers can check out the previous article for more information. This article focuses on the trade of Australian silk goods from January to September 2024, covering both the export and import data of Australian silk products.
According to the statistics from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, from January to September 2024, Australia’s total trade volume in silk goods was USD 575 million, an increase of 3.31% year-on-year. Of this, exports totaled USD 47.47 million, a decrease of 5.34%, while imports were USD 527 million, an increase of 4.17%. (See the attached table for details.)
